Hearts for the Hungry
- TO ACCESS FOOD -
- If you are a shelter or an organization to serve the food to those in need: simply click on our Provider tab, enter zip code, and search through the available foods listed for that date. You can find the information about quantity, location, and when the food is no longer edible there. On our Find Us page there is a heart downloadable sticker. Please put this in your windown to signifiy that you are a partner in Hearts for the Hungry.
- If you are a person in need of food: the Provider tab is also where you need to go. There you will find the restaurants who are willing to serve you in your time of need. You can also see what shelters and what organizations are set to pick up this food; this is so you can go to this safe and clean and warm place to receive your meal. If you do not wish to go to the shelter for your meal, there is an alternative. The restaurants that are participants of Hearts for the Hungry have our logo sticker placed in a visible front window of their establishment. This is how you know that they have food ready and are able to give to those in need.
- If you are a potential volunteer: the Find Us tab is where you can click on our sign up box. Here you can specify what you desire to help with: driving, distributing, and organizing.
